Thompson Construction Group, Inc. was contracted on a time and material basis by eVAC Magnetics LLC to support the development of a state-of-the-art rare earth magnet production facility.
Scope of work included unloading, storage, loading, and marshalling of equipment, as well as the installation of process equipment. The project also involved the fabrication and installation of structural steel platforms and supports, along with all required utility piping, ductwork, and associated systems.
Additional responsibilities included procurement of materials, installation of cable tray, conduit, wire, and lighting, and providing miscellaneous site support services to ensure efficient project execution.
The facility produces neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) permanent magnets and represents the first facility of its kind in the United States.
