Hal Turner
Vice President
Hal is the Building Division Manager for Thompson Turner Construction and brings to the team over 34 years of construction industry experience in Construction Management and General Construction.
As the company owner, Hal is intimately involved during all phases of the projects, working with the team on constructability reviews, budgeting, and overall project management to ensure attention to detail and quality at every level is maintained.
Hal attended Clemson University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Ginny McGill Kirk, LEED® AP BD+C
Director of Strategic Planning
Ginny has over 23 years of professional experience in the fields of architecture, construction, and information technology with emphasis on project management, consulting, contracts, purchasing, design, and business development.
She is responsible for identifying and executing strategic growth opportunities in new markets and maintaining client relationships. Ginny is LEED® AP certified and is able to serve client’s needs and requests on a LEED® certified project.
Ginny received her Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and her Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from Wake Forest University.

Paige Carlton
Director of Business Development
Paige Carlton is a 1983 graduate of Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Paige has worked for Senator Strom Thurmond and served as Office Manager of the Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, DC before returning to South Carolina to Governor Carroll Campbell as an Economic Development Representative.
Paige now concentrates his efforts in business development for Thompson Turner Construction, developing leads, aiding in the development of proposals and presentations, and securing contracts for Clients.

Will Ligon, LEED® AP BD+C
Director of Construction
Will has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience has included corporate management, project management, estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance in every facet of the construction industry.
His current duties include site field administration, supervision and technical management for all construction operations including direct supervision of foreman, subcontractors and other construction related personnel. He is responsible for the scheduling, planning, coordination, and execution of work on time, within budget and maintaining a safe work environment.
Will directs and/or participates in weekly subcontractor meetings and Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings on a regular basis. He is responsible for communicating to Owners/Architects the status updates and vital information about their project as it relates to schedule, budget, quality, and phasing.
Will achieved his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in Construction Science and Management. He also has his Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Midlands Technical College.

Liz Rhoads, LEED® AP, CPSM
Director of Marketing
Liz has over 18 years of professional experience in marketing and construction management, having begun her career managing higher education construction projects before transitioning into the marketing of professional construction services.
She develops Thompson Turner’s marketing strategy and identifies customers and their current and future needs. She is responsible for ensuring brand standards, developing marketing collateral, proposals and presentations, and the company’s social media endeavors.
Liz also takes an active role in each project, maintaining client relationships and community involvement. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management and her minor in Business Administration from Clemson University.
